Terminals

A terminal on the wall, the records in Pontualy.

For stores where staff don't use their phone at work. The employee taps a card or enters a PIN, and the record appears on the dashboard within seconds.

What the terminals do.

Automatic upload

Every record goes to Pontualy without anyone having to download anything.

Works offline

If the connection drops, the terminal stores the records and sends them when it's back.

Assigned to a store

Each terminal belongs to a store, so every record lands in the right place.

Employees in sync

Joiners and leavers are updated on the terminal from Pontualy.

Cable or Wi-Fi

Connects to the store network. [CONFIRM MODEL OPTIONS]

Status at a glance

Head office sees whether each terminal is online and when it last sent a record.

Card, PIN or biometrics?

All of them work with Pontualy. The difference is in simplicity and in data protection obligations.

Card

Recommended

Fast and simple. One card per employee, which can be deactivated at any time.

PIN code

No extra cost

No cards needed. Works as an alternative or alongside cards.

Biometrics

Optional

Fingerprint or face recognition. Prevents buddy punching but requires extra GDPR care.

Biometrics involve special-category personal data (art. 9 GDPR). We recommend card or PIN unless there is a justified need. [VALIDATE WITH A LAWYER]
